Ownership
& Daily Operation Of This Site
I
am, and have always been, the registered owner and WebMaster
of
this
domain and web
site. My name is Hugh Brecher. I reside and work from
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I am married to a wonderful woman,
have 2 grown daughters and 2 cats that add a lot of joy to my
life.
I
have several different occupations and enterprises,
my main one
is that
of Celtic
jeweler. My primary Celtic jewelry web site is here: http://www.mycelticrings.com,
my wife, Elaine, and I began our Celtic jewelry business on
September 4, 2000. By the grace of God we were soon
successful in all the ways that matter to anyone doing
business
on the
Internet.
My
other primary occupation is that of being a site designer,
promoter,
and
Search Engine
optimizer for other web sites.
My Motivation
For Creating This "Watchdog" Web Site
For
several years I worked on behalf of several cell phone repair
businesses. During this time I was exposed to many
different people in the cell phone repair industry. Most
of these folks were very fine people with high ethical standards;
they were trustworthy, highly skilled technicians, reliable,
and well credentialed in their occupation. They were,
and still are, of fine moral character.
In
this same period of time I unexpectedly encountered, and
interacted with too
many "unsavory"
characters. If they were to tell you their TRUE mottos
it would be something like this "Who can we cheat today?",
or "There's a sucker born every minute." Mostly
ALL of us know people who just cannot bring themselves to
do business honestly. They are trained in gaining
the confidence of others in order to gain access to OPM
(Other Peoples Money) and then by hook or by crook take
it for themselves. They behave normally until your
money is in their pockets, then they are usually very hard
to reach. Emails and phone calls are ignored more
often than one would reasonably expect. They don't
need you anymore. They are putting their attention
on fleecing new victims. Sad, but true.
Champion
of The Underdog
As you probably
imagine I decided to create a few
layers
of protection between potential victims and the stores that
are eager to defraud
as many of them as they can. This Watchdog web
site is my chosen means for providing this protection.
In
order to help fund this web site I am working to enlist
the financial support of the best cell phone shops; ones that
I am, happily, willing to refer to all of my visitors. Isn't
it better that I help promote the businesses of a few EXCELLENT
cell phone repair businesses then turn my back and let potential
victims fall prey to the con men, scammers and rip-off artists?
I have always
been a "champion of the underdog". Here I
go again.
Sincerely, Hugh Brecher
